Baron Batch is a Pittsburgh-based artist and former American football running back who retired from the NFL in 2013. He is known for his colorful murals of animals and recurring symbols, like the eye, the elephant, and the word "free."
This is an original work by Batch where he applied paint to a leather duffle bag with his characteristic mark-making. It showcases his unique typography and signature eye symbol with some pieces of canvas stitched into the leather. This original work is a rare sculptural gem within Baron Batch's expansive art practice. It is a duffle bag with two side pockets, two lengths of handles, and a functioning zipper. Hence, you can wear it as a statement piece or use it as a unique piece of art in your space.
