This was shot for Avenue Magazine. Martha had recently been divorced and I asked her what she looked like when she came home from a long date. I love this one.

About George Lange has worked for Duane Michals and Annie Leibovitz before establishing his own career. His work has appeared in Vogue, Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Esquire, People and The New York Times, among other publications. He shot many of the iconic images from Friends, Frasier, Dawson’s Creek, and Seinfeld, as well as Sophia Loren, ads for and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.
