“A Hello Light” is one in a series of original oil paintings begun in 2022 as visual affirmations of the inner guidance, strength, power, and beauty within each of us.

Shelbey Tharpe is an intuitive artist and mobile teacher based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is best known for her bold and color saturated abstract figurative paintings. In her paintings she explores the stories and perspectives of women and depicts them facing forward and taking up space on the canvas.
